Are you interested in hearing more of my story? Are you curious about my quirks and interests?
Join me on a small adventure where I share facts about my life, who I am and what I have been up too.
1 – Silly Me
Life and routine can get quite boring. For fun, I like to dress up and record silly videos of myself singing and dancing.
Either way, it’s loads of fun because after I record the videos, I actually send them (yes, I’m not kidding) to family and friends.
Silly me has done this from as far back as I can remember. The only difference: as a child, my concerts were live and in-person, leaving my family in stitches of laughter and tears!
2 – I Love Elf
Most people dress up for Halloween but last year, I wanted desperately to dress up as Elf. I had every intention of greeting my neighbours and hanging out at the pedestrian crossing to spread some holiday cheer. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I couldn’t find a costume.
I settled for playing the Elf at home and successfully got my daughter hooked on the movie! Lucky for me, I had an excuse to watch the movie on repeat and laugh at the same jokes over and over!
3 – I like to move (not on a dancing kinda of way)
I I have lived in a few different cities and countries. Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where I have lived both in the capital and spent a couple of years on a small country town as a teenager, I moved to Brisbane in Australia when I was 19 to learn english and escape my teenage troubles.
I travelled New Zealand for six months and spent time in Wellington following a loved up heart that broke me to pieces.
A move to Sydney, Australia allowed me heal my broken heart and find love again with my now husband and partner in crime (aka Mike-G). We then moved to the Central Coast to have our first baby and returned to Sydney shortly after for one last try before making a bigger move.
Today we are happily settled on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Australia, where we feel our heart is set.
4 – Comedy and Crushes
I have always considered Jim Carey to be the funniest comedian and I later developed a greater appreciation of him as a person by learning of his spiritual depth .
Will Ferrell is a next top favourite (need I mention Elf again?).
I have a secret crush on Hamish (from Hamish & Andy if you are in Australia).
And lastly I need to mention Channing Tatum, I obviously think he is funny too, I definitely don’t think he is sexy, a good dancer and very charming (Go Magic Mike!).
5 – Love and Babies
My pregnancies have all occurred overseas. I was in Croatia and pregnant with my firstborn when my husband fell off of a 10 meter cliff and narrowly escaped tragedy with a broken leg and fractured vertebrae in his back. How we became pregnant despite his injuries is a miracle, let’s say it was a trauma induced pregnancy [insert winking emoticon].
And my daughter was conceived during our honeymoon in New Zeland, where we eloped and had a Heli-Wedding at the top of Mount Roy in Wanaka, the most magical place I have ever been too.
6 – Unbelievable Baby Weight
I weighed a staggering 102 kg by the end of my second pregnancy. I don’t believe it myself but the photos, unfortunately, are there to remind me!
7 – Natural Therapy
I am also a natural therapist, I have studied Naturopathy, Nutrition and gradated as a Homeopath. I have loved everything it taught me and how it helped me change my life around and put me on the path of Coaching where, needless to say, my heart is set.
8 – Childhood Dreams
Beyond family concerts and acting silly, I grew up wanting to be a paediatrician. I have always loved children and the health field but, it turns out, the universe had far better plans for me. Ironically, the plans still include children and health as the inner child plays a role in our sessions to better understand and heal your mind, emotions and soul.
9 – Adventurous and Free Spirited
As if it isn’t quite obvious, I am an adventure seeker and free spirit who always strives to explore the world and its gifts.
Traveling makes me sparkle.
10 – Big Family
I am one of eight children. That’s right, eight as in the #8! I am the second eldest of 6 boys and 2 girls. Our crazy bunch even includes a set of twins. With a family of eight, laughter was contagious, the noise was loud and constant and meal time was a war zone on many occasions.
